Privacy Policy

Effective: June 23, 2026 · Last updated: July 24, 2026 · Version 2026-07-24

This policy explains what personal information Draft Nirvana LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. We wrote it in plain language because we think you should actually be able to read your privacy policy.

That's it. The list above is complete.

If someone refers you to Draft Nirvana, we receive your email address from the person who referred you. We use it solely to send you an invitation. If you do not sign up within 90 days, we delete your referral information.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store passwords (we use passwordless authentication), payment or financial information, precise location or GPS data, device fingerprints or advertising identifiers, or data from third-party trackers or data brokers.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the draft experience: sending you your invitation, letting you into your draft room, showing your name on the board, and recording your picks. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand how the product is used and to improve it.

We don’t sell your personal information for money. Our marketing website uses advertising partners to measure our ads and to show you Draft Nirvana ads on other sites — you can opt out of that anytime, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. We don’t hand your name, email, or draft activity to advertising networks. (See Advertising and Retargeting below.)

Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Draft Nirvana. These include hosting infrastructure (to serve the application), a video/audio service (to enable live streaming during drafts — no recordings are made), an email delivery service (to send your draft invitations), an analytics service (to understand how the product is used and to improve it), and advertising and measurement partners — used only on our marketing website to measure ad campaigns and show you Draft Nirvana ads on other sites; they receive site-activity data, not your account details. The analytics service receives your name and email to associate your activity across sessions. It does not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or build cross-site profiles — your data stays within our project and is used solely to improve the Draft Nirvana experience.

Current advertising and measurement partners: Google Ads (ad-campaign measurement and conversion tracking).

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies and session storage to keep you logged into your draft room during a session. These are strictly functional — they remember your PIN and your draft room state so you don’t get kicked out if you refresh the page. Our analytics service uses a first-party cookie to associate your sessions — this data is used solely to improve the product and is not shared with advertisers or third parties. Our marketing website (draftnirvana.com) uses advertising and conversion cookies from our advertising partners to measure our campaigns and show you Draft Nirvana ads elsewhere. You can opt out anytime (see Your advertising choices), and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal. The draft app itself runs no advertising pixels.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Active participants: We retain your data for as long as your league is active, plus 36 months after your last draft. This covers the reality that fantasy leagues are annual — if you skip a season and come back, your history is still there.

Waitlist signups who never join a draft: We retain your information for 36 months from the date you signed up, then delete it.

Deletion requests: If you ask us to delete your data, we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, we provide the following rights to all users.

Right to know. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, and we will tell you.

Right to deletion. You can ask us to delete your personal information, and we will — within 30 days. Some data may be retained if required by law or needed to complete an active draft in progress.

Right to export. You can request a copy of your data in a portable format.

Right to correction. If your information is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Right to opt out of sale and targeted advertising. We don’t sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising partners on our marketing website that involves “sharing” data for targeted advertising under laws like California’s CPRA and Delaware’s DPDPA. You can opt out anytime — use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer, or email privacy@draftnirvana.com — and we treat a Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@draftnirvana.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Draft Nirvana is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly and terminate their access.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side PIN validation, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your personal information.

Recording

Most drafts are not recorded — by default our video and audio are real-time only and are not saved. Some drafts, currently our beta drafts, are recorded (video, audio, and screen) when flagged, and only with your separate, per-draft consent shown when you enter that draft room. Full details — how recordings are used, how long we keep them, and how to withdraw — are in our Recording Policy.

International Users

Draft Nirvana is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We apply the same privacy protections to all users regardless of location.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or by a notice in the draft app before the changes take effect. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.

Advertising and Retargeting

To find people who’d enjoy Draft Nirvana and to see whether our ads actually work, our marketing website uses advertising partners. They set cookies and receive limited information about your visit (like which pages you saw and whether you signed up) so we can measure our campaigns and show you Draft Nirvana ads on other sites.

Here’s what we don’t do: we don’t sell your personal information for money, and we don’t hand your account details — your name, email, or draft picks — to advertising networks. This advertising lives on our public marketing site, not inside your draft room.

Current advertising and measurement partners: Google Ads (ad-campaign measurement and conversion tracking).

You can opt out anytime — see Your advertising choices below.

Your advertising choices

You can limit or turn off interest-based advertising in a few ways:

• Your browser and device. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.

• Industry opt-out pages. optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and optout.networkadvertising.org (NAI).

• The partners directly. Google: adssettings.google.com.

• Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC browser signal as an opt-out (globalprivacycontrol.org).

• Our footer link. “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” — suppresses all ad pixels immediately and sets a persistent cookie.

California Privacy Rights: Do Not Sell or Share

If you live in California: California’s privacy law (CCPA/CPRA) treats using advertising pixels for cross-site ads as “sharing” your personal information — even though we don’t sell it for money. You can tell us to stop by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer, by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing privacy@draftnirvana.com. We won’t treat you any differently for opting out.
